Our goal is to provide top-notch cannabis products, while also providing fantastic customer service all coupled with a location that speaks to the beauty of rural Ontario.
Our story
We are a licensed cannabis retail store based out of Mississauga First Nation. Our business is managed by the Mississaugi Retail Cannabis Corporation of whom Mississauga First Nation is the 100% shareholder. The business generated at the retail store will see all profits going back to the community where it will be reinvested as part of the community’s goal in generating own-source revenue streams. Our goal at Creekside Cannabis is to set a standard that embraces the education and research of cannabis products and sharing that information to customers, partners and the general public. Our hope is that by redefining the experience of purchasing cannabis, we can help dissolve negative stigmas associated with cannabis use in its many forms.
Creekside Cannabis is located along Pahpashcah Creek, today known as Dyke Creek, which is a tributary that runs into the Mississaugi River. This was an active transportation route as well as a source of food and resources for people in the area.

Mississauga First Nation
Mississauga is signatory to the Robinson Huron Treaty of 1850 and resides within its traditional territory. The community is located at the mouth of the river which shares its name, The Mississaugi. Spoken in the Anishinaabemowin language it is Misswezhaging, which means ‘many outlets’. Although the community is located within the “reserve” boundary, the Traditional Territory extends towards the Huron Watershed.
Mississauga ancestors and current Mississauga’s travel the extent of the Mississaugi River utilizing its abundant resources. The river begins at Lake Huron and extends as far as Bark Lake and beyond.
